Programs and Activities
Each year, the University Library offers programs and activities that engage students and attract the campus and the wider community. Your contribution will ensure our continued outreach.
Student Orientation Program
From a student's first day on campus, the University Library reaches out with orientation programs, instruction, training, and hosted activities, easing the transition to university life. Our Student Orientation Fund supports programs such as Love Your Library and Big Brain Bash, 24 hour service during final exams, Open Houses for student groups, and workshops.
Arts and Lectures Program
Designed to expand the intellectual life of the campus, the University Library's Arts and Lectures series offers an exciting program of compelling art exhibits and speaker presentations. Our art exhibits often showcase works produced in advanced-level art classes and our lectures supplement the curriculum. All are open to the public.
Library Research Award
The University Library is proposing a new award for undergraduate academic work. We are building an endowment to fund an annual recognition award for first-rate academic achievement as demonstrated by class projects, individual scholarship, research methods and critical thinking skills.
