Got Questions?

We’ve Got Answers!

The University Library has many ways to answer your questions. So don't hesitate to ask.

Student Assistants
Approach any of the student employees wearing the yellow vests with “Got Questions?” on the back. They are posted throughout the buildings and can answer all kinds of questions — or point you to someone who can.

Where Can You Ask Questions?

During Library hours, student employees will be available at:

  • First Floor - Tech Help Desk
  • Second Floor - Checkout and Information desk, Tech Help desk
  • Third Floor - Information desk
  • plus Roaming: if you see a yellow-vested student in the stacks or anywhere in the Library, go ahead and ask for help. They'll point you in right direction.

What Other Kinds of Help can you get in the Library?

Information/Check-Out Desk. Located on the second floor, this is the place to get some general help, check-out materials, pick up reserve items, and get referrals for more advanced help.

Research Help. Ask for referrals at the Information/Check-Out Desk for help narrowing your topic, finding articles, or even working with citations.

Help 24/7. Available anytime, day or night, 24/7 Chat is ideal for answering research questions with a librarian anytime.

Email. We can answer email questions about: deciphering Library holdings, developing a search strategy, selecting the right resources for your topic, or troubleshooting problems with accessing Library resources.
