First, with as much focus as possible write down your topic. Are there certain phrases or terms that you think might be helpful? Have you narrowed to a specific area of focus or do you need to spend more time breaking your topic down into concepts, issues, synonyms, etc.? Second, draft a thesis statement. Part II. Citing Monographs

Find at least 3 titles in either Merlin or Melvyl that might be appropriate to your topic. Cite the titles below in MLA format. Request the appropriate titles through IBARO. (Don't forget to make a note in your search notebook of what you ordered and when you ordered it.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Part III. Library Catalogs

What do you think about library catalogs - why are they important, what do you like and don't like about them, what don't you understand, how do they work, what would you tell a friend about using library catalogs, etc.? Be descriptive and thoughtful. Feel free to use the back.
