Oral Presentation
The oral presentation is your opportunity to share with your classmates information about the topic you have been researching and share your skills and insights as a researcher. It is also your chance to wow your instructor with the knowledge you have gained this semester.Your presentation should address the following:
Clearly and concisely state your research topic. Share one aspect of the research process that became significantly important to you throughout the semester. This might be something interesting about the topic that you discovered because of conducting thorough research; it might be a specific learning moment; it might be something you would do differently; it might be some obstacle you discovered well into your research process; etc.
The oral presentation should be brief. No presentation should exceed 5 minutes. While the time will vary from presentation to presentation (some may take only 3 minutes), no talk should exceed 5 minutes. After 5 minutes you will be cut off. In essence, the oral presentation is a few sentences stating your research topic and sharing one significant discovery you made researching this topic, either about the research process or the topic itself.
