Proquest Digital Dissertations

This web site allows users to search for free (no library subscription required) the most current two years of Dissertations Abstracts. Most entries also have a 24-page preview.

Sonoma State Theses

SSU Masters Theses are located on the 3rd floor south at the end of the North Bay Regional book collection. They may be borrowed.

SSU theses can be searched for in Snoopy. Use advanced search and limit to material type “theses”

InterLibrary Services (ILS)

The Library’s ILS department will process requests for dissertations and theses. However, many requests for these items cannot be filled, due to the nature of dissertation/theses publishing.

Proquest Dissertation Express

Proquest Dissertation Express allows you to order copies of dissertations and theses (for a price) from the company UMI, if they're available. Directions for ordering are available at the site.

Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD)

This project provides full-text electronic access to selected dissertations and theses for free. While their collection is limited, it may be worth checking, especially for recent works.
