Forgot your Library Pin?

How to Reset Your Library PIN

  1. Connect to the Library's home page: http://library.sonoma.edu
  2. Click on "My Library Record" in the upper right corner of the Library's home page
  3. Click on "Forgot your PIN?"
  4. A new window appears, type in your barcode.
  5. Click "Submit".
  6. If all was successful you should get a screen similar to this:
  7. Check your email. You should get a email similar to this:
  8. Click on the link in the email. You might have to cut and paste the link into your browser.
  9. Enter barcode and the New PIN twice.

    Note: The PIN must not contain common patterns. For example:

    • A character that is repeated three or more times (for example, aaa,abab,bbb).
    • A set of up to four characters that is repeated two or more times (for example abab, abcabc, abcdabcd).
    • After more than 5 failed attempts, the system will block access for one minute.
  10. If all was successful you should see a screen similiar to this:
