Wireless and Laptops
Wireless Network Access
- Wireless access is available in all public areas of the University Library.
- Access the wireless network using your Seawolf userid and password (the same you use to access campus email, Peoplesoft, and WebCT). You will get full speed and full network access as you would in campus offices or computer labs.
- Guest users can sign onto the wireless network by obtaining a guest account from the Information Technology’s Help Desk during normal business hours (need a State-issued I.D. or passport). Guest access is limited to web and email access at a reduced speed.
Laptops
- If your laptop has a wireless network card, you can use the library's wireless technology to get online.
- Laptop Docking Stations are available throughout the library and provide power and “wired” network access.
Assistance
Limited assistance with wireless and laptop access is available in the Information Commons on the first floor of the University Library. Information Technology’s Help Desk (across the patio) also provides limited assistance.
