Send a text message from Snoopy, the library catalog

We have a new feature that allows you to send a text message or email from a library catalog record. Instead of walking around with scraps of papers with call numbers written on them, you can text the information and then locate items in the library. The text message includes the title, call number, and the location of the item.

The button below appears in the catalog record for an item:

Clicking on that button opens the following dialog box.

Once you fill out the information you get a text message like the one below. Depending on your cell phone plan, charges may apply.
